Not everyone has the ability to put together a training programme to suit their own personal aims, needs, time and lifestyle that will help them reach their specific health and fitness goals.

A large number of fitness professionals will admit that custom training programmes are not easy to produce. They are not only time consuming to put together, but often require much more consideration than simply the aims of the client.

Training programmes that you often find from a fitness magazine, book or website may not suit everyone. In fact for those that follow these generic plans they would actually benefit far more from a specific programme designed around them. Generic programmes can be very successful but usually only for those that have already been training for some time and have a good base level of fitness.
